Collected Reviews of Roots & Herbs "The Blakey Project"
As word starts to spread about the success of saxophonist Jean Toussaint's Blakey Project, several publications have reviewed performances at Swanage Jazz Festival, Isle of Wight Jazz Festival and Brilliant Corners jazz club in Dalston, London. Jazzwise described the project as "supreme", with London Jazz News calling the group a "blockbuster," adding that the group exemplified "the kind of driving swing which once would have been almost inconceivable on this side of the Atlantic".
