Robert Mitchell's 'Invocation,' premieres with resounding impact
Turaco Artist Robert Mitchell premiered his large-scale work 'Invocation' at Bournemouth By-The-Sea Festival with the fantastic Bournemouth Symphony Chorus on Friday 26th September. Jazzwise's Kevin Le Gendre gave the performance an outstanding review, which can be found here.
Invocation will be headlining the London Jazz Festival on 23rd November at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at 4pm. This performance spectacular will feature over 190 musicians, including the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus, Goldsmith's Big String, Panacea and Eugene Skeef as well as a youth chorus made up from students of Bournemouth Schools.
